Gujarat University Recruitment 2025-26

 Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, has released the employment notification (No. GU/Admin/2025-26) inviting online applications from qualified citizens of India for various Administrative Posts. The recruitment covers a wide range of positions from Class-I Officers to Class-III Clerical staff, including a significant number of vacancies for Junior Clerk (84 Posts). Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: The detailed educational qualification for each post will be available in the detailed notification on the University website. Candidates must ensure they meet the specific degree/experience requirements for the post they are applying for.
  • Computer Proficiency: Selected candidates will be required to pass the CCC/CCC+ examination as per Gujarat Government norms during their probation period.
  • Age Limit & Experience: As per Gujarat Government and University norms. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.

Application Fees

Candidates are required to pay the processing fee online. The fee is non-refundable.

  • General Category: ₹ 750/-
  • SC / ST / SEBC / EWS: ₹ 500/-
  • PwD Candidates: Exempted (NIL)

Selection Process

  • The selection process may include a Written Test, Online Test, or Personal Interview depending on the post.
  • The exact structure of the examination and syllabus will be published on the University website in due course.

  3. Register yourself and select the post you wish to apply for. (Separate application required for each post).
  4. Fill in the details and upload the required documents (Photo, Signature, Marksheets, Caste Certificate, etc.).
  5. Pay the application fee online.
  6. Submit the final application form before 13 January 2026 (05:00 PM).
  7. Note: Hard copies of the application are NOT required to be sent to the University for these specific posts.
